Flamengo will conduct a single training session on Saturday before facing Corinthians on Sunday at 17:30 Brasília time, and Leonardo Jardim will pick his XI, according to Coluna Do Fla.
After beating Independiente del Valle (EQU) in Quito on Thursday 10, the squad rested on Friday 11. Saturday's 11:00 session at Ninho do Urubu will be used to assess players. Jardim said post-match he will make changes.
Probable Flamengo line-up: Agustín Rossi, Guillermo Varela, Danilo, Léo Ortiz and Ayrton Lucas (Emerson Royal), Erick Pulgar, Lucas Paquetá and Jorge Carrascal, Gonzalo Plata, Samuel Lino (Luiz Araújo) and Pedro.
Léo Pereira, who left Quito with muscle pain, is unlikely to start. Jorginho and Arrascaeta are also set to be rested. Pedro, used late in the Libertadores, is near certain to begin.
Ayrton Lucas is a concern after nine straight starts and recent fatigue. With Alex Sandro injured, he should continue, though Varela could move left with Emerson Royal right. Youngster Johnny is an outside option.
Corinthians are likely to rotate, with a Libertadores quarter-final against Estudiantes (ARG) in São Paulo on Wednesday 16, having drawn 1-1 in the first leg. Fernando Diniz has called it the club's most important recent match. A likely XI: Hugo Souza, Milans, João Pedro, Iago Machado, Angileri, Charles, Raniele, Matheus Pereira, Dieguinho, Gui Negão, Lingard.
The league game is part of round 27 of the Brasileirão and will be shown on Globo nationwide, GETV on YouTube and Premiere pay-per-view.
