Flamengo face Madureira on Sunday in the first leg of the Carioca semi-final at the Maracanã. Coach Filipe Luís has selected his matchday group as they look to take an advantage in the tie.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the squad comprises Goalkeepers: Andrew, Rossi, Dyogo Alves. Centre-backs: Danilo, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Vitão. Full-backs: Alex Sandro, Ayrton Lucas, Daniel Sales, Emerson Royal, Varela. Midfielders: Carrascal, Arrascaeta, De La Cruz, Pulgar, Evertton Araújo, Lucas Paquetá. Forwards: Douglas Telles, Cebolinha, Luiz Araújo, Pedro, Plata, Samuel Lino.

After the Supercopa do Brasil on the first of February, Jorginho reported left thigh muscle pain and scans confirmed a posterior injury. Forward Bruno Henrique has felt discomfort in the pubic area.

Saúl remains out as he recovers from surgery on his left ankle, and he is expected to return in March. Wallace Yan has begun physical reconditioning work.

Flamengo reached the semi-finals by eliminating Botafogo 2-1 in the quarter-finals. The tie with Madureira is over two legs, with Vasco or Fluminense possible opponents in the final.

Kick-off is at 20h30 Brasília time on Sunday 22 February, with the return scheduled for the second of March.
