Flamengo ‘to sell’ Plata to Dinamo Moscow for R$60.1m | OneFootball

O Globo reports that Flamengo have agreed a R$60.1m deal to sell Plata to Dinamo Moscow, and he is expected to miss Sunday’s derby.

The club had wanted to keep the 25-year-old, a regular under Leonardo Jardim, but his camp pushed for improved terms or a move to Europe.

Flamengo hoped to field him against Botafogo, yet his representatives oppose that and want him travelling to Russia on Saturday. The proposal is expected to be formalised and signed on Friday.

Dinamo, who also brought in Matheus Martins this week, have struck the agreement. Plata joined Flamengo in 2024 for R$51.9m.

Over 2 years in Rio he made 100 appearances, scoring 9 goals, and won 6 trophies including the 2025 Libertadores.

He also drew interest from Mexican clubs but preferred Europe.
