Bruno Henrique remains in pain from the trauma sustained against Cruzeiro on Wednesday, has not trained with the group and is out.

Alex Sandro is still recovering from right calf tendinitis, while Vitão has a muscle injury in his left thigh and will need a few more weeks. Neither trained with the squad.

De la Cruz is a new absentee after complaining of pain in his left thigh, with imaging confirming a muscle injury.

Luiz Araújo returns to the squad. He had been cleared before the Cruzeiro match, but was left out after only a few sessions, and has recovered from a left knee injury sustained in late July during the mid-season camp.

Everton Cebolinha did not travel due to a bout of flu, and has been working on the pitch away from the group.

After Palmeiras stumbled last round, the gap narrowed. The São Paulo club have 48 points to Flamengo’s 42, and the Rio side have a game in hand.
