Fofana arrives for FC Porto return on loan from Rennes

Seko Fofana has arrived in Portugal to complete a return to FC Porto on loan from Rennes.

According to O Jogo, the national champions will take the 31-year-old Ivory Coast international on a renewed loan with no fee beyond wages, and there is no purchase option included.

He landed on Wednesday morning at Francisco Sá Carneiro airport to undergo medical and physical tests ahead of signing a contract that runs until June 2027.

The move brings Fofana back to what was his home for the second half of last season.

He is expected to begin training under Francesco Farioli as early as tomorrow.
