Folarin Balogun will not be joining Everton after late talks broke down. According to L'Équipe, the Monaco and American striker, 25, left the training ground following an unsuccessful final renegotiation with the Toffees.

The move had been progressing on Tuesday night, only to collapse at the last moment. The Principality club’s window has been lively to the end.

It is not ruled out that Balogun could still depart for a league where the window remains open, in particular Saudi Arabia or Türkiye.
