Marco Timmer is reporting that Noah Ohio is set to join Real Valladolid on loan from FC Utrecht. Ohio, who spent some time with Hull City a few seasons ago, will join the La Liga 2 side in a deal that will include a purchase option of around €3m. Ohio has only made six appearances for the Utrecht first team this season, whereas he has played eight games for Jong Utrecht in the Dutch second tier, scoring nine goals.

Ohio joined Utrecht from Standard Liege back in the summer of 2024. In the six months prior to the move, he had been loaned by the Belgian side to Hull City. During his time with Hull City Ohio played eight games, scoring three goals. His first full season with Utrecht saw Ohio score five goals in 25 games. However, with the arrival of Haller and other forward options, Ohio has found himself falling down the pecking order at the club. He now looks set to join Real Valladolid in the Spanish second tier. Relegated from La Liga last season, Ohio’s new club are currently 12th in La Liga 2.
