Bundesliga Media has announced that former Leicester City and England striker Jamie Vardy will host seven Friday-night Bundesliga matches during the 2026/27 season on his YouTube channel, “Jamie Vardy’s Having a Party”, for audiences in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The partnership will get underway tonight with the opening fixture between Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart, with the remaining matches set to be confirmed as the season progresses.
The collaboration is part of a broader partnership with media and entertainment group Banijay Entertainment. Through Banijay UK and its label Workerbee, the company will produce a live Bundesliga show featuring Vardy and a range of guests, bringing reaction, insight and discussion to some of the season’s biggest fixtures.
“Fans don’t just want to watch football anymore, they want to experience it with the people they already know and trust,” said Workerbee CEO Rick Murray.
“Jamie has built an incredible community around the podcast, and thanks to our Bundesliga partnership, we can bring that audience closer to some seriously big games. This deal acts as another major step for Banijay Entertainment’s growing sports offering, which combines brilliant talent, premium football, and plenty of ways to watch.”
Bundesliga Media also announced an extension of its partnership with “That’s Football” for the 2026/27 season, with Mark Goldbridge set to stream 15 Bundesliga matches through watchalongs across the campaign.
The first of these will be the Matchday 3 fixture between 1. FC Union Berlin and FC Schalke 04 on September 11 at 20:30 CEST.
