A PSG player should win the Ballon d’Or, Christophe Galtier has said. You won’t find many disagreeing with that take.

Former PSG boss Christophe Galtier has spoken out about the Ballon d’Or and the potential of PSG players to win it this year.
As you’d expect, he was very positive about the idea.
“I’d love that! If we look at the trophies won, I’d mention Fabián Ruiz,” Galtier said to Le Parisien.
“If we focus on the matches, I think Ousmane Dembélé, even though he hasn’t played much, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have been very impressive. One of these three players would deserve to win the Ballon d’Or. I’d be happy for them, and I’d be happy if a player from a French team won it.”

At this point, we’re sick of hearing about this individual award. We can’t wait for football to come back so we can start focusing on the games rather than this ridiculous circus. Any of the PSG guys would be a worthy winner, and all of them would be the first to say it’s a team game anyway.
At least now the voting has closed, so the campaigning in the media can end…
Senny Mayulu was the first international break victim for PSG – but it doesn’t sound like a bad injury, and he will likely be fit for the Parisians’ next game.
Fabian Ruiz has just signed a new PSG contract, but has admitted he does have dreams of playing at another club one day later in his career.
