Manchester United entertain Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round at Old Trafford tonight.
The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend, and manager Ruben Amorim will expect a better showing against the Foxes.
The will be an enforced change in the team, with Lisandro Martinez ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after sustaining a serious knee injury on Sunday.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Predicted Line-up:
Amorim has recently preferred to rotate his goalkeepers. Altay Bayindir made six saves against Arsenal. He also denied Kai Havertz in the penalty shoot-out and should get the nod over Andre Onana.
Matthijs de Ligt is likely to be reinstated in central defence, with Martinez injured. De Ligt could slot in the right centre-back role with Leny Yoro on the left. Harry Maguire is poised to start in the middle of the back three.
Amad Diallo could return to the right wing-back role. Noussair Mazraoui should drop to the bench. Winter signing Patrick Dorgu could make his full debut as a left wing-back ahead of Diogo Dalot.
Amorim has already hinted that the Dane is ‘ready to play‘ after arriving from Lecce.
Bruno Fernandes has impressed from a deeper midfield role alongside Manuel Ugarte and should continue there.
Kobbie Mainoo excelled in the position of left number 10, where he had the license to create without extra defensive duties. The Englishman looks primed to start again.
Alejandro Garnacho could accompany him in attacking midfield. The Argentine’s future has been cleared after constant speculation, and he should reap the benefit over the next few weeks.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee were on the bench against Palace, with Mainoo starting as the false number nine.
Zirkzee will likely be the main striker tonight, as Hojlund has struggled in his last few starts for the Red Devils.
