Francisco Sierralta loaned to Piast Gliwice by Auxerre with option to buy | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Auxerre have loaned Chile international Francisco Sierralta, 29, with 20 caps, to Piast Gliwice for this season with an option to buy.

The Polish transfer window remains open until Wednesday night.

Sierralta joined from Watford in July 2025 for €1.8m but did not establish himself at Auxerre. He is under contract with the club until June 2029.

Muscular injuries hindered his progress. The 1.92m centre-back made only 10 Ligue 1 appearances, all between August and November 2025, scoring once. He also played the Coupe de France round of 32 on 21 December against Monaco, a 1-2 defeat that proved his last appearance for Auxerre.

Piast Gliwice are currently sixth in the Polish top flight.

Meanwhile, Haiti international Josué Casimir, 24, who arrived in summer 2025 and has 10 caps, appears close to a move to Russia, where the window remains open until Thursday night. He is contracted to Auxerre until June 2028.
