The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in a friendly match ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

This preparatory clash is scheduled for Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Cairo International Stadium. Egyptian head coach Hossam Hassan expressed his desire to face a top African side to test his squad before the tournament. In addition to this high-profile encounter against Nigeria, Egypt will also participate in the UAE International Tournament.
