Look ahead, take stock, set the dates. It's the first step of the summer in football, ahead of the coming campaign. We have the dates for the 2026/27 campaign in Italian football. It all kicks off again on 9 August with the preliminary round of the Coppa Italia, while the Serie A season starts on 23 August and ends on Sunday 30 May 2027. We will have two midweek matchdays: Wednesday 28 October and Wednesday 6 January. We will also have a Christmas break on Sunday 27 December. The format for the international break is, as usual, four weekends with no Serie A football, but this season, we will have five consecutive matches before we break for two weekends in a row. The international fixtures are on 27 September, 4 October, 15 November, and 28 March.

The 2026/27 Coppa Italia will begin with the preliminary round on Sunday 9 August, before the first round is played on Sunday 16 August. AC Milan will enter the competition at the Round of 16 stage in December. The final in Rome will take place on Wednesday 19 May 2027. AC Milan will play in the 2026/27 Europa League, entering into the League Phase, which begins on 16/17 September. The final will be held at Frankfurt's Waldstadion on 26 May. The eight-game league phase draw will be held on 28 August, before the knock-out rounds. The play-off legs are on 18 and 25 February, and the round of 16 is on 11 and 18 March.
