Without Victor Osimhen, Galatasaray secured a 2-0 victory over Eyüpspor this Saturday at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, on matchday 5 of the Süper Lig. The Turkish club’s coach gave an update on the Nigerian striker.

After the match, coach Okan Buruk shared his thoughts and discussed Victor Osimhen’s condition:

It was a tough match, in a stadium that’s difficult to play in. We had possession but created little in the first half. The changes we made allowed us to attack better afterwards, and the goal came after the combination between Ahmed and Icardi.

Regarding Victor Osimhen, the coach offered reassurance:

His situation will become clearer in a few days. He is experiencing some pain, but we believe he’ll be able to play. We’ll see if he can perform despite this.
