Champions League side Galatasaray have added Andre to their January shortlist and view him as an opportunistic target amid Wolves’ situation, according to Molineux.news, which adds they are prepared to pay €25-30 million (£22-26 million).
Wolves have taken a firm no-selling stance, yet the midfielder may be tempted to cut his stint short. With Championship football likely, he would almost certainly look to play at a higher level.
The Brazilian has significant interest, with Manchester United and several clubs in Brazil recently linked.
Even if relegation beckons and he stays beyond January, Wolves simply cannot let him leave for £22-26 million. A fee of at least £30 million should be the starting point for a player of his quality.
It remains to be seen what the window brings, but Rob Edwards seems confident that Andre and Joao Gomes will stay until the end of the season.
