Galatasaray want Barcelona star this month | OneFootball

Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray have set their sights on the signature of Barcelona star Marc Casadó.

This comes amid the understanding that the Gala brass have earmarked the youngster as the ideal addition to their midfield ranks.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing several leading Turkish news outlets:

‘The Istanbul club wants to strengthen its midfield with the Barcelona player. However, sources indicate that Casadó has already rejected the option of joining Galatasaray.’

Casadó does not see Istanbul as a realistic landing spot at this moment in time, eager to stay put and fight for his place in Hansi Flick’s squad over the 2nd half of the term.

Closer to home, Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid are also continuing to keep a close eye on developments surrounding the future of the Spanish international.

Following the departure of Conor Gallagher, the Rojiblancos are scouring the market for reinforcements in the middle of the park, with Casadó one option being closely monitored.
