Gasperini makes calls on Dybala and Ndicka as Roma confirm Atalanta squad | OneFootball

According to Football Italia, Gian Piero Gasperini has confirmed Paulo Dybala and Evan Ndicka are fit enough to be included in Roma’s matchday squad for Saturday’s Serie A home game against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.

Dybala’s fitness had been in doubt earlier in the week, while Ndicka missed last weekend’s 4-0 win against Lecce.

The 23-man list was confirmed on Saturday morning for the visit of Maurizio Sarri and Atalanta.

Both are being tipped to start in the evening, though Matias Soule is likely to come into the attack if La Joya begins on the bench. Daniele Ghilardi covered for Ndicka last weekend.

New signings Kostantinos Koulierakis, Nahuel Molina, Leonardo Balerdi, Marten De Roon, Rodrigo Mora and Santiago Castro are also in the squad. Mora, 19, could return to Gasperini’s starting line-up, with the other summer arrivals set to be substitutes.
