Gasperini makes decisions on Dybala and Ndicka as Roma confirm squad for Atalanta | OneFootball

Gian Piero Gasperini has confirmed that both Paulo Dybala and Evan Ndicka are fit enough to be included in Saturday’s matchday squad for Roma’s home Serie A match against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.

There had been concerns regarding the Argentine’s fitness earlier this week, whilst Ndicka was forced to sit out of last weekend’s 4-0 victory over Lecce.

Both have been included in Gasperini’s 23-man matchday squad for the visit of Maurizio Sarri and Atalanta, which was confirmed on Saturday morning.

In fact, both Ndicka and Dybala have been tipped to start on Saturday evening, although it is most likely that Matias Soule will be called into the attack in the event that La Joya starts among the substitutes. Daniele Ghilardi was the chosen replacement for Ndicka last weekend.

New signings Kostantinos Koulierakis, Nahuel Molina, Leonardo Balerdi, Marten De Roon, Rodrigo Mora and Santiago Castro have also been called up for Saturday’s clash against Atalanta.

19-year-old Mora could be called back into Gasperini’s starting line-up, but otherwise, the rest of the summer recruits are expected to start on the bench.

Midfielders: Bryan Cristante, Marten De Roon, Manu Kone, Nicolo Pisilli, Rodrigo Mora.
