Gaziantep host Kasımpaşa in the Süper Lig on Monday, 9 February 2026, with the home side looking to consolidate a top-half spot and the visitors trying to climb away from the relegation places.
Gaziantep edged the reverse fixture 3-2 in August and come in eighth, while Kasımpaşa sit 16th. The head to head has been tight across recent seasons, with wins for both sides and several draws.
Recent league form points to a cagey start. Gaziantep drew with Galatasaray and Konyaspor before a 2-1 defeat at Gençlerbirliği, though they have won back to back cup ties either side of that run. Kasımpaşa followed a goalless draw with Antalyaspor by losing to Trabzonspor and Samsunspor, but all three of their league wins this season have come away from home.
Team news could shape selection. Gaziantep list defenders Myenty Abena and Salem M'Bakata, plus forward Ali Ablak, as injured. Kasımpaşa are without midfielder Haris Hajradinovic.
Routes to goal may hinge on contrasting styles. Gaziantep have scored 27 league goals with 52% possession, and Mohamed Bayo's eight league goals plus Alexandru Maxim's seven assists, joint second in the division, give them clear end product. Kasımpaşa have 15 league goals but deliver a high volume of crosses and win plenty in the air, which may steer their threat towards wide service for forwards such as Habib Gueye.
A home win would lift Gaziantep to 28 points and strengthen their top-half platform. Victory for Kasımpaşa would move them to 19 points and could pull them closer to safety in the relegation battle.
