Hearts confirm Alexandros Kyziridis exit before Benfica second leg | OneFootball

The club said in a statement that 25-year-old winger Alexandros Kyziridis has left for Çorum FK, newly promoted to Türkiye’s top flight, in a deal worth nearly €2 million. He started against Benfica at Estádio da Luz in the first leg of the European qualifier.

The Greece international departs only a year after joining Hearts on a free from Zemplín Michalovce.

His exit could open a door in Wouter Vrancken’s squad, with 22-year-old Ugandan winger Roger Mato among the candidates to fill the role, although he was not registered for the tie with Benfica. Mato believes he has received positive signals from the head coach and can push for a bigger role.
