Getafe sign Mangala from Lyon on loan in principle | OneFootball

Getafe have confirmed the signing of Mangala, 25, from Lyon, the move agreed in principle as a loan, according to Superdeporte.

LaLiga begins on 15 August, prompting clubs to accelerate late business to complete squads for the opening weekend.

José Bordalás continues at the Coliseum after securing UEFA Conference League qualification, the club’s second continental appearance since 2019.

With three competitions ahead, a strong summer window is vital. Getafe have seen midfield mainstays depart, Luis Milla to Como coached by Cesc Fàbregas, and Mauro Arambarri to River Plate.
