On the back of a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle at the weekend, Celtic FC Women now face a pause in their domestic campaign due to the final international break of 2025. But a number of Celts will still be in action over the next couple of weeks.

Once again, Emma Lawton has been called up to the Scotland squad that will head off to Cadiz in Spain this week, having gained her eighth cap last month.

And she will be joined in the Scotland squad by Celtic team-mate, Maria McAneny, with the 21-year-old receiving her first call-up to the national squad.

Melissa Andretta’s Scotland squad will face Ukraine and China in friendly action out in Spain on November 28 and December 2 respectively.

Also heading out to Spain with hernational team is Saoirse Noonan, who will join Carla Ward’s Republic of Ireland squad.

Having helped her country reach League A in the UEFA Nations League, the forward will spend the week with her international team-mates in Malaga as Ireland take on Hungary in a friendly.

There have also been call-ups at youth level, with Lisa Rodgers being named in the Scotland Under-23 squad that will travel out to play Belgium this Thursday.

Finally, Sienna McGoldrick was named as part of the Scotland U19 group who will face round one of European Championship qualifying.

With all three games being played on home soil, McGoldrick will once again be hoping to feature as the young Scottish side take on Norway, Netherlands and Croatia.

Best of luck to all five of our Celts out on international duty over the coming week!
