The agent of AC Milan striker Santiago Gimenez has shut down speculation that the forward could move to the Premier League in January.
Gimenez has been linked with a mid-season move to England, after struggling for form this season.
The Mexican has failed to score or provide an assist in nine Serie A appearances this season, while head coach Massimiliano Allegri has talked up the qualities of teammate Rafael Leao as a centre-forward.
Gimenez was linked strongly with the Premier League prior to his move to Milan in January 2025, having scored 65 goals in 105 games for former club Feyenoord.
West Ham United are among the sides rumoured to be interested. Several other Premier League sides are also on the search for a goalscorer in January.
However, Gimenez’s representative, Rafaela Pimenta, has cast doubt on a move. She said there are currently no plans for the 24-year-old to leave the San Siro.
“I’m not surprised to see Premier League links, but there’s no plan at all to leave AC Milan,” Pimenta told ESPN.
“The message I get from the club is also the same: it’s all ok with Giménez.”
