Milan have released their squad numbers for 2026/27, and Santiago Giménez is not listed, another sign he will not be among Rúben Amorim's options.

The Mexico international remains an FC Porto target this summer. His father recently confirmed that talks between Milan and FC Porto continue.

An initial loan offer, including a 15 million euros option to buy, was rejected.

That option would have become obligatory if he reached a set number of goals and appearances.

Negotiations have since resumed between the clubs.
