Glasgow City kit launch campaign

Following their historic kit launch in collaboration with Foudys, Glasgow find themselves shortlisted in the ALT Most Valuable Partnership category. Credited for their originality and innovation, their ‘Well-behaved Women Seldom Make History’ is one to remember.

Combining two independently women-run companies, the kit launch kit launch generated record sales and one million social media impressions on the launch day alone. An innovative method saw the club launch a 10-day secret drop, with no badge or name. Despite this, a record 130 shirts sold across 15 countries globally before any consumer knew the club behind it.

Driven by pure curiosity and interest in the women’s game, the campaign was shot in the Glasgow Women’s Library and revealed at the Regent Street location of Style of Our Own London. Supported by fellow women-led brands, such as Strong Like a Mutha, the feminist-drive campaign highlighted the optimism within women’s football.
