Sunderland have suffered a double setback at Leeds United, with Granit Xhaka named only on the bench and a change required in goal.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Brian Brobbey, Nordi Mukiele and Reinildo Mandava were out, along with Dennis Cirkin, Romaine Mundle and Jocelin Ta Bi.
Xhaka had returned to the starting XI in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth after a month out with an ankle problem, having come off the bench at Fulham at the end of February.
He required on-field treatment following a strong challenge from Tyler Adams, which manager Le Bris felt could have warranted a red card. With the quick turnaround, whether the call stems from that tackle or from load management remains to be seen.
Social media rumours of a Robin Roefs injury appear accurate, with 22-year-old Melker Ellborg making his Premier League debut in his place.
Le Bris looks to have gone with a back three. Luke O’nien captains on his first Premier League start of the season alongside Omar Alderete and Dan Ballard, with Trai Hume and Lutsharel Geertruida at wing-back.
Noah Sadiki and Habib Diarra pair up in midfield, with a front three likely. Enzo Le Fee and Nilson Angulo are expected to operate wide of Eliezer Mayenda.
Leeds are unchanged from Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Manchester City, with Joe Rodon and James Justin overcoming minor knocks to start.
