The official Gre-Nal match report, published on Monday afternoon, confirms Grêmio’s third goal as an own goal by Internacional defender Victor Gabriel and records a half-time protest by an Inter executive. According to Globo.com, referee Anderson Daronco detailed both points in his document.

The expectation had been that the goal would be given against the Colorado centre-back, and the report formalised it. In the move, Arthur dispossessed Alan Patrick, Amuzu fed Carlos Vinicius, whose dink hit the post then Victor Gabriel as he ran back to clear.

Carlos Vinicius remains on nine goals for the season and is without a goal in five matches. In the Gauchão, he has five, level with Inter’s Borré and Monsoon’s Fabinho Polhão, while Avenida’s Wellison leads with six.

Daronco also noted a complaint from Inter executive Fabinho Soldado in the Arena tunnel at half-time, contesting the officiating. Inter had protested over Arthur’s challenge on Borré and a foul in the build-up to Grêmio’s second goal.

In his report, the referee wrote that the club’s football director, Fabio de Jesus, entered the mixed zone, approached the officials and challenged decisions, saying he had not expected such incidents and believed the refereeing should have been different.
