Grêmio face two Brasileirão trips before the Copa do Brasil Gre-Nal, and must address a poor away record to ease relegation fears.

Globo.com reports that the Copa do Brasil draw set up two Gre-Nais. Grêmio have collected four points from 10 league away games, at Chapecoense, Inter, Athletico and Bahia, the third-worst away record, ahead of Vitória and Chapecoense.

Across the season their away yield is 31.74 per cent, four wins in 21 matches, two in the Gauchão, one in the Copa Sudamericana where they went out, and one against Confiança in the Copa do Brasil fifth phase.

Grêmio visit Atlético-MG on Sunday 16 August at 16:00, then Bragantino on Sunday 23 August at 16:00, with a clear week to train in between. In the first round they beat Atlético-MG and were held by Bragantino.

They come into this run after defeating São Paulo at the Arena, yet remain only three points from Santos, who hold the first spot in the Z-4.

After those league fixtures, the quarter-final first leg against Inter is set for Beira-Rio in late August, details to be confirmed. Two home games follow, Chapecoense in round 25 and the Gre-Nal return in early September, then Vitória away in round 26, all to be confirmed.
