Renato Portaluppi has five confirmed absences. Full-backs Marlon and Diego Caito are nearing the end of injury recovery and are being prepared for the Gre-Nal next round.

Defender Gustavo Martins and Peru midfielder Noriega are suspended after third yellows in the 0-0 draw with Palmeiras before the international break. During the pause, Jovane Cabral suffered a grade 2 left-thigh muscle injury and also misses out.

João Pedro should start at right-back and Caio Paulista on the left. Captain Kannemann should return alongside Wallace in central defence. Nardoni is in line to replace Noriega.

Portaluppi is expected to use three holding midfielders. Danilo Barbosa will sit deeper, with Nardoni and Villasanti given licence to push on. Villasanti plays a friendly on Monday and will have his fitness assessed.
