Greuther Fürth sign Mainz centre-half Maxim Dal

SpVgg Greuther Fürth have signed 20-year-old centre-half Maxim Dal from 1.FSV Mainz 05, with both clubs keeping the transfer details confidential.

Mainz sporting director Niko Bungert said Dal had progressed through their youth ranks, showed great potential and earned attention with regular U23 starts in the Regionalliga, but fierce competition meant first-team minutes were unlikely. He wished the defender well on and off the pitch.
