MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship continues Monday with the third round of encounters in Group B at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

With victories last Saturday, Canada and Mexico secured a spot in the top two to advance to the Knockout Stage and clinch a berth in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. The two nations will meet to decide their seedings for the Semifinals.

Panama vs. Nicaragua

Panama and Nicaragua will meet with each seeking to exit the tournament with a victory.

Las Canaleras will look to Sherline King, the team’s lone scorer of the campaign, in attack. King led the way with three attempts in the defeat to Mexico.

Nicaragua midfielder Jennifer Sarantes converted a penalty kick opportunity in the loss to Canada to open the scoring tally for La Azul y Blanco in the 2025 edition. Daniela Valladarez led the way offensively with three attempts in the latest encounter.

Mexico vs. Canada

Mexico and Canada meet in a battle for first place in Group B. Mexico leads the group on goal difference, meaning a draw would be enough to finish in first place, but Canada can rise to the top with a victory.

Montserrat Saldívar has led the attack for Mexico with three goals in the 2025 edition. Saldívar along with Abril Fragoso and Deiry Ramírez have collected braces in the current campaign. Alice Soto has also contributed with two goals and three assists.

Annabelle Chukwu has three goals for Canada and is also a candidate in the Golden Boot race. Liana Tarasco also has three goal contributions with two goals and one assist.
