Gruda ‘to return’ to Leipzig on loan with mandatory buy clause

RB Leipzig are close to bringing Brajan Gruda back from Brighton & Hove Albion, with a deal nearing completion.

Sky Germany reports that the 22-year-old is already in Leipzig, and the club are cautiously optimistic he can join training on Monday.

The agreement will be another loan, this time including a mandatory purchase clause valued between €25 million and €30 million.

Gruda spent the second half of last season on loan with Leipzig.

He made 14 appearances in that spell, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
