According to L'Équipe, new Marseille head coach Habib Beye will make his Brest debut on Friday at 20:45 without his assistants, who remain blocked by Stade Rennais.

On Wednesday he received his own dismissal notice from Rennes, a prerequisite for signing an 18-month contract with Marseille.

He had planned to be joined by three assistants from Brittany, Sébastien Bichard, Olivier Saragaglia and Yann Cavezza, who worked alongside him there until nine February.

Rennes has yet to send dismissal letters to the trio, and the process can run until 12 March, one month after the preliminary dismissal meeting.

They were absent from Thursday’s first session at La Commanderie.
