Now Botafogo have confirmed the signing of Ziyech until the end of the 2028 season.

Ziyech began his career in the Netherlands with Heerenveen, going on to play for FC Twente and Ajax before making the switch to Chelsea in 2020. The creative outlet played 107 times for the Blues during his time in England, scoring 14 goals and making 13 assists but never quite showing off his true talent.

An initial loan move to Galatasaray followed in 2023 before that was made permanent. Ziyech then went on to feature for Al-Duhail of Qatar before moving to Morocco.

Botafogo are currently 14th in the Brasileirão Série A and host Red Bull Bragantino in their next fixture.
