Barcelona have made the perfect start to the 2026/27 season, and Hansi Flick’s side are doing it with goals. 

The Blaugrana have won all seven of their opening matches across La Liga and the Champions League, setting a new club record in the process.

As such, no previous Barcelona team had won its first seven competitive matches of a season. 

Flick’s squad has now changed that, combining an unbeaten start with an attacking run that is already turning heads.

Six of those victories have come in La Liga, leaving Barcelona as the only team in the division to have won every match so far. 

Their latest victory was another statement performance, with seven goals taking their league tally to 28 in just six games.

Barcelona have broken another scoring record

The numbers become even more striking when their Champions League campaign is added to the equation.

Barcelona’s 5-1 victory over Feyenoord took their total to 33 goals in their first seven matches in all competitions. 

Notably, it is the first time in the club’s history that Barça have scored more than 30 goals across their opening seven games.

The attacking production has been relentless from the start under Flick.

Barcelona have opened the scoring in six of those seven matches, with only Rayo Vallecano managing to strike first.

That early pressure has become one of the defining features of Flick’s team. Barcelona are not simply collecting wins; they are putting games beyond their opponents before they have time to settle.

Raphinha has been at the centre of that attacking explosion.

The Brazilian has scored in six of Barcelona’s seven matches this season. The only game in which he failed to find the net was against Levante, although he still produced two assists in that fixture.

Flick has increasingly trusted Raphinha as a false nine, and the decision has produced spectacular numbers. The forward has nine goals in La Liga and another two in the Champions League.

Sure, there is still a long way to go this season, but Barcelona’s opening weeks have already produced a remarkable collection of records. 

Seven wins, 33 goals and a new club milestone have given Flick’s side an exceptional platform.
