UEFA confirmed on Tuesday that Munich and Barcelona will host the 2028 and 2029 Champions League finals, at the Allianz Arena and Camp Nou respectively.

The showpiece will return to Spain quickly, with this season’s decider at the Metropolitano, home of Atlético de Madrid.

Munich has been a happy stage for French clubs. The Bavarian city staged Marseille’s 1-0 win over AC Milan in 1993, and Paris Saint-Germain’s 5-0 victory against Inter Milan in 2025.

Camp Nou will host its first Champions League final of the 21st century. The last at the ground was Manchester United’s 2-1 triumph over Bayern in 1999.

For the Europa League, Bucharest’s Arena Nationala will stage the 2028 final, followed by Belgrade’s National Stadium in 2029.

The Europa Conference League finals will be held in Turin at Juventus Stadium, then in Budapest at Puskas Arena.

The UEFA Super Cup will be played in 2027 in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruyff ArenA, and in 2028 in Astana at the Astana Arena.
