Leeds United reported back for pre-season testing, with new signing Harry Wilson checking in and Ilia Gruev returning from injury.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the majority of the squad assembled at Leeds Beckett University seven weeks after the final match of the 2025-26 season at West Ham.

A club video on social media showed Wilson with his new team-mates after joining on a free transfer following the expiry of his Fulham contract.

Those pictured included captain Ethan Ampadu, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach, Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, Jaka Bijol, James Justin, Sean Longstaff, Dan James, Willy Gnonto, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Lucas Perri and Alex Cairns.

Gruev’s campaign ended early with a meniscus knee injury, and he posted a recovery update late last month. The 26-year-old was expected to be ready for pre-season.

Missing from the footage, as anticipated, were World Cup internationals Brenden Aaronson, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor and Ao Tanaka, who are due back later.
