David Ornstein of The Athletic reports that Leeds United have reached an agreement to sign Wales international Harry Wilson on a free following the expiry of his Fulham contract after four seasons.
The 29-year-old, previously coached by Marco Silva at Fulham, is preparing to commit to a long-term deal with Leeds, who returned to the Premier League after one year in the Championship.
Leeds tried to land Wilson on the final day of last summer’s window, but the move fell through as the paperwork was not completed in time. This time he is set for a significant pay rise.
Tracked by several clubs, including Benfica, Wilson has chosen to remain in England rather than reunite with Silva at Benfica.
The winger delivered the most productive season of his career, playing 36 Premier League matches for Fulham with 10 goals and seven assists, numbers that strengthened his market value.
