Hellas Verona striker Gianluca Caprari has hailed the impact of coach Igor Tudor.
Tudor is being celebrated for driving Verona up the table.
"One of the secrets is that we are a team on and off the pitch. We often have dinner together and it's the first time that I play in a team so much in sync," the striker said.
“Tudor is like a hammer, he hasn't changed after securing survival. We keep improving and we want to reach more targets: record for points and goals scored. We'll give our best.
“This is undoubtedly my best season and we're gone beyond every expectation with Verona. I hope I can play for the national team again one day. It's my biggest dream. I've only tasted the Azzurri, but I feel ready for more."
Verona meet AC Milan on Sunday and Caprari added: “It will be a spectacular game, Milan have quality, but we have proved that we can cause trouble to any opponent if we are on our day. Inter are the best team, but had a bad game in Bologna.
“Milan would deserve to win the title for how they have played this season."
