Henri Saivet could join Caen, with the 35-year-old former Senegal international in Normandy to negotiate a one-year contract with an optional extra year.
According to L'Équipe, Ligue 3 side Stade Malherbe Caen are holding talks on Thursday over the midfielder’s arrival.

Saivet has been a free agent since one July after his deal at Clermont ended.
He represented Clermont for two seasons and previously played for Bordeaux.
Caen’s summer window is not quite finished, with Saivet under consideration to bolster their midfield.
