The international break is almost over, but for Roma, the problems don’t seem to end with it.

As has often happened in recent years, international commitments have taken their toll on the Giallorossi squad.

Next Sunday, Roma will face a tough test against Inter at San Siro, a match that could prove decisive not only for the Nerazzurri in their Scudetto race, but also for the Giallorossi in their Champions League contention.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini has several issues to resolve before the match. Soulé, struggling with a relentless groin pain, could return, but his presence is uncertain.

Konè has already been sidelined by an injury and is expected back at the end of April, but in recent days, Wesley, who is playing for Brazil, has also been affected by a suspected right thigh injury.

The winger’s recovery time is still uncertain, but Gasperini hopes to have him back for the matches against Atalanta and Bologna.

The situation isn’t ideal for the defense either.

As Leggo reports, Hermoso, recently returned to action, is training with a visible bandage on his left calf, a sign that the problem is still present and the situation remains delicate.

Furthermore, Celik, busy with Turkey, doesn’t appear to be in top form. This leaves Gasperini in a total emergency situation, just as the team approaches one of the most important matches of the season.
