Hertha BSC ‘to sign’ Alfa-Ruprecht on loan from Leverkusen

Sky Germany reports that Hertha BSC are close to taking Farid Alfa-Ruprecht on loan for 2026-27.

Bild claims a full agreement is in place with Bayer Leverkusen for a loan without a purchase option, with Leverkusen keen to keep him long term.

The second-tier club are said to have beaten newly promoted SC Paderborn to the winger.

The 20-year-old is travelling to Berlin for his medical, scheduled for Thursday, 20 August.

Last season the Hamburg native made 26 appearances on loan at VfL Bochum, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
