Sky Germany reports that Hertha BSC are close to taking Farid Alfa-Ruprecht on loan for 2026-27.

Bild claims a full agreement is in place with Bayer Leverkusen for a loan without a purchase option, with Leverkusen keen to keep him long term.

The 20-year-old is travelling to Berlin for his medical, scheduled for Thursday, 20 August.
