Hillel Konaté signs one-year Troyes extension to 2028 | OneFootball

Hillel Konaté has signed a one-year extension at Troyes, keeping the 31-year-old goalkeeper under contract until the end of June 2028. He impressed after stepping in for Nicolas Lemaître during last season’s run to the Ligue 2 title.

The promoted club said in a statement on Thursday that the Burkina Faso international, capped four times, had agreed fresh terms.

Konaté made 23 Ligue 2 appearances last season after Lemaître’s injury. Lemaître has since joined Stade Rennais.

Troyes are continuing a spate of renewals, following Junior Diaz’s extension. President Edwin Pindi remains confident Yvann Titi will also agree new terms.

Konaté now faces competition from Australian Patrick Beach, a close-season signing from Melbourne City who is aiming to be first choice. High training standards are expected given the level of competition. Konaté has been with the club since July 2025.
