TSG Hoffenheim have had a third bid accepted for Shamrock Rovers forward Michael Noonan, with an upfront €1.8million reported to have led to an agreement, according to the Irish Examiner.

The 17-year-old Irish striker now looks destined to join the Sinsheim club. Rovers, the reigning League of Ireland champions, had earlier rejected two proposals.

The latest offer was considered closer to the club’s €2million valuation of the player. Previous negotiations had broken down.

Noonan became the youngest ever scorer in UEFA Conference League history after netting against Molde in February 2025.

Already an Ireland Under-21 international, he has three caps and one goal. For the Hoops, he has 46 appearances with nine goals and four assists to date.
