FIFA-listed referee Rodrigo Pereira Lima will earn R$ 7,600 to take charge of Flamengo v Internacional in the Brasileirão’s second round.

CBF referees receive R$ 5,500. Assistants are paid R$ 4,560 if FIFA-listed and R$ 3,300 for CBF, while fourth and fifth officials get R$ 1,910 and R$ 1,530 respectively. The CBF announced a professionalisation programme last week with salaries yet to be disclosed, and, according to GE, a FIFA referee handling four league games in 30 days would take home about R$ 60,000 per month, combining match fees with a contract salary.

Across the 2025 Brasileirão, Lima oversaw five Flamengo games, a win and a draw against Ceará, a win over Internacional, a defeat to Bahia and a 2-2 with São Paulo.

Two Flamengo players, Danilo and Wallace Yan, were sent off against Bahia, the defender in the first half. He also dismissed Gonzalo Plata in the draw with São Paulo.

He was also in charge for the Ceará meeting that sealed the Brasileirão title.

Flamengo face Internacional at the Maracanã from 19:00, Brasília time, on Wednesday 04.
