Palmeiras expect to receive between two and two and a half per cent from Gabriel Jesus’s transfer from Arsenal to Barcelona under FIFA’s solidarity mechanism.

According to Globo.com, the move was announced on Tuesday. Jesus spent 2013 to 2015 with Palmeiras’s under-17 and under-19 teams before his senior debut.

The club have yet to be notified of the final fee, but the deal is around 10 million euros plus bonuses, roughly R$ 60.1 million. That would leave Palmeiras due about R$ 1.2 million to R$ 1.5 million.

Solidarity receipts have risen in recent seasons for Palmeiras, though they do not count towards the club’s annual sales targets.

With R$ 399 million budgeted from transfers in 2026, Palmeiras had reached about R$ 344 million by the end of August after selling Allan to Manchester City and Kaique to Sporting.

Further income will follow once 19-year-old forward Riquelme Fillipi’s sale to Inter Miami is formalised, with 60 per cent of his rights moving for about $6 million, around R$ 30.8 million. He signed the paperwork on Monday and is awaiting a visa to travel.

Including that deal, the club will reach roughly R$ 374 million for the year, factoring in the moves involving Facundo Torres, Naves, Jhon Jhon’s 20 per cent sell-on from Bragantino to Zenit and six smaller transactions worth around R$ 15 million.
