How Sunderland’s new membership scheme works, prices, ballots and waiting list | OneFootball

Sunderland have launched a three-tier fan membership for 2026/27, on sale from 10am Tuesday.

According to Sunderland Echo, prices are Season Ticket Plus £20, Black Cats Adult £48, and Black Cats Academy £30 for the first child then £20. Season Ticket Plus adds away general admission ballot access, content, member offers, in-store events, mascot ballot for ages six to 12, and rewards. Black Cats Adult includes the home ballot and the season-ticket waiting list, with the same perks, while Academy mirrors Adult plus the mascot ballot.

Season card holders keep existing rights, and ticket forwarding is unaffected. Membership is optional, the £20 Season Ticket Plus simply offers access to the away ballot and extras.

Home tickets will be offered to members first. Given last season’s demand and sold-out season cards for 2026/27, most are likely to go via the ballot.

One membership equals one ticket, so groups need individual memberships, with ballot details to be confirmed nearer the season. Away ballots are reserved for Season Ticket Plus.

The previous waiting list has closed. From 10am Tuesday a new list opens to members, and your place is kept while you remain one.

Black Cats Points is unchanged, though 10% of away allocations will be held for ballots. High-point holders will still have priority on the remainder.

Europa League home ticketing is unconfirmed. There is no suggestion it will require membership, and non-season card holders can ballot via Black Cats Adult.
