The Republic of Ireland are back in action tonight as they host Senegal in an international friendly.
Heimir Hallgrímsson’s side recorded wins over Bulgaria in the last international window back in March, avoiding relegation to League C in the UEFA Nations League in the process.
This game, as well as Tuesday’s showdown against Luxembourg are being used as preparation for the World Cup qualification campaign which begins in September with Ireland drawn in the same group as Portugal, Hungary and Armenia.
Senegal, on the other hand, are deep into their bid to qualify for next summer’s big tournament, but they are on a tour of the UK in this international window as they face England next week.
Pape Thiaw, who replaced Aliou Cisse as Senegal head coach last December, will be hoping to extend the Lions’ unbeaten run to 15 games when they visit the Aviva Stadium.
It’s the first-ever meeting between the two nations, and here is everything you need to know about where to watch...
