Black Star face final World Cup warm-up fixture before joining England’s group
It will be a historic match in some senses as Wales host African opposition for the first time, but it will sting somewhat after they missed out on qualifying for the World Cup themselves.
They fell short of a berth in this summer’s tournament after being beaten on penalties by Bosnia & Herzegovina in a play-off semi-final.
Wales will treat this match as a warm-up for this autumn’s Nations League fixtures, with another friendly against Romania booked in for next week.

Head coach Craig Bellamy is looking forward to the two fixtures: “They’re two very, very different challenges, but challenges that can really help us improve because I see big improvements in the team.
“We have to improve, I have to improve as a coach, and those two factors motivate me a lot.”
For Ghana, meanwhile, will join England in World Cup Group L in just two short weeks, facing Panama in their first match of the tournament before meeting the Three Lions in Boston.
It will be a fifth appearance at a World Cup finals for the Black Star, but they have never gone further than the quarter-finals.
Secure a positive result against Wales, though, and they will head to the United States confident of escaping a tricky group.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on BBC Sports, with coverage starting at 7.15pm BST ahead of a 7.45pm kick-off.
