With a new manager having been appointed, Huddersfield are looking to make changes ahead of the close of the January transfer window.
Huddersfield Town have bounced back into the League One play-off places since appointing Liam Manning as their new head coach, and now they're looking to strengthen ahead of the closure of the January transfer window.
With three wins out of three in his first matches in charge of League One promotion-chasers Huddersfield Town, Liam Manning has had a strong start to his time at The Accu Stadium as he looks to put his Norwich City nightmare behind him.
The Terriers continued Manning's hot streak with a 3-2 win at Peterborough United, keeping them in the third tier play-off places, and it's now being reported that they are are looking to strengthen by taking an exciting young Swansea City forward on loan for the remainder of the season.

Journalist Pete O'Rourke has revealed that Huddersfield are closing in on the signing of Swansea City striker Bobby Wales on loan for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
Wales signed for Swansea at the end of the 2024-25 season from the Scottish club Kilmarnock, formally joining the club on a four-year contract, having 40 times after breaking through their academy.
The young forward, who has been capped by Scotland at under-18 and under-19 level, scored four times at senior level for Killie before his move to South Wales, but has had minimal game-time so far.
The 20-year-old bagged on his Swans debut in an EFL Cup round one defeat of Crawley Town in August, but he has appeared just four times off the bench in the Championship, including three recent brief cameos under Vitor Matos' management.

Bobby Wales' transfer south from Kilmarnock hasn't quite gone as the young forward might have hoped. Wales made his Scottish Premiership debut for them in October 2022 at just 17 years of age, and impressed both for them and on a loan spell at Albion Rovers.
His transfer to Swansea at the end of the season hasn't resulted in first-team Championship football for the young forward, though. Wales has only made four appearances for Swansea over the first half of the 2025-26 season, all of them from the bench, and amounting to just 22 minutes in total game-time for the Swans - they perhaps see him as one for the future and not for now.
A transfer down a level to Huddersfield in League One would, therefore, be a positive move for the player if the intention at Swansea is for Wales to get more game-time, although the Terriers' flying start under Liam Manning may make breaking into their first-team a tall order.
But with playing chances at Swansea limited, and Huddersfield's fortunes looking up following their managerial reshuffle, this could be an opportunity for the young player to pick up some extra experience over the second half of the season.
